・ESCRSメンバーの24施設での 16,603眼での検討。
・前房内cefuroximeの有無(A)と、周術期のlevofloxacin点眼の有無(B)で4群に分けて調査。
・29眼に術後眼内炎発症（0.17%)。その内20眼は起炎菌証明された。
・(A-)(B+):14/4054例、(A+)(B-):3/4056例、(A-)(B+):10/4049例、(A+)(B+):2/4052例であった
