・SD-OCT各部位の名称につきOCT国際的な名称の統一についてﾊﾟﾈﾙﾐｰﾃｨﾝｸﾞを行い、全員一致で名称を統一した。
・その中で、line線という用語は使用せず、band(layer)帯は薄板の名称として、帯zoneという言葉は、特異的な反射構造が確実に証明されていない、解剖学的な部位を指すこととした(myoid筋様、ellipsoid楕円、interdigitation嵌合帯がその例である)。
・国際OCT名称委員会は今後、この用語を使用することを推奨する。
・この国際OCT名称委員会は30名の委員から構成され、委員にはKaiser P, Spaide RF, Yanuzzi Lなども入っている。(図)
